Wilson Gouveia
Head Instructor
Born and raised in Fortaleza, Brazil. Wilson is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and a 10x veteran of the UFC. Wilson is a natural heavy hitter with unlimited potential. He is comfortable on his feet trading punches, or on the ground relying on his Jiu-Jitsu. Wilson instructs the MMA & Striking for MMA classes.
Bruno Bastos
BJJ Instructor
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil started his BJJ training at the late Carlson Gracie’s original school, in Rio, under professor Ricardo “Kiko” Velloso. After 3 years Bruno moved to Boston, MA to start training with Brazilian Top Team with Joao Amaral till he received his Brown Belt, and shortly after moved to Florida where he joined American Top Team and earned his Black Belt from BJJ Master’s Ricardo Liborio and Francisco “Master Indio.” Bruno recently earned the silver medal at the 2010 Pan-American Games, and had also medaled from 2006-2008.

Francisco “Manoel” Soares- Is a Professional Mixed Martial Artist with a record of 3 wins and 2 losses. Francisco is a Bellator Fighting Championship Veteran and holds wins over The Ultimate Fighter 9 cast member Mark Miller, and Maximum Fighting Championship welterweight champion Pat Healy. Originally from Fortaleza, Brazil Francisco received his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under the tutelage of UFC and PRIDE veteran Marcus “Maximus” Aurelio.
Yuri Villefort
Muay Thai Instructor
Is a Professional Mixed Martial Artist with a perfect record of 5 wins with no losses. Yuri, trains daily at the American Top Team Headquarters in Coconut Creek, FL and is the instructor of our Muay Thai classes here at ATT Miramar. Being the son of Legendary Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Master Francisco “Master Indio” Silva, and brother of IFL, WEC & UFC Veteran Danillo “Indio” Villefort, Yuri is one of the most highly regarded “up and comers,” in the country!
Marcus da Silva
Judo Instructor
Is the former coach of the Brazilian National Judo Team, the University of Distrito Federal team , and the oldest son of “Master Indio” Silva. He is a 6th degree Black Belt in Judo awarded by the Brazilian Judo Confederation and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt awarded by the Brasilia Jiu Jitsu Federation. Marcus is the Judo Instructor at the Coconut Creek Headquarters of American Top Team, specifically the Judo for MMA coach of MMA Superstars; Gesias “JZ” Calvancante, Rafael Rebello, Yuri & Danillo Villefort, Jessica Aguilar, and Chris Manuels.
Randy Barroso
Children's MMA Instructor
Originally from Venezuela, Randy is a professional Mixed Martial Artist and is the founder of the newly formed Venezuelan Top Team. He trains out of the American Top Team Headquarters and competes in the Lightweight division. Randy had at one point in his career competed under Golden Glory fight team in Holland along side Semmy Schilt, Melvin Manhoef & Heath Herring
Janelle Olivo
Cardio Kickboxing Instructor
Janelle Olivo began training in the martial arts at the age of 6. She studied and trained in the art of Koei Kan Karate Do, a traditional Japanese full contact fighting art and holds a second degree black belt. She began competing at the age of 7, and went on to compete internationally becoming a 6x international champion in forms, fighting and weapons. She was a member of the Women’s USA Karate Team and has represented the United States in Athens, Greece and Porta La Cruz, Venezuela. Janelle is an AFAA certified personal trainer, fitness counselor and group fitness instructor.
